~You are invited to have a taste of 'mee ramen' this coming Saturday, 27th March 2010 at 3.00pm. See you there!~
When you received an invitation like that, it's only plain that you should yes.
And the thought of going into that mysterious Japanese restaurant (thank you Isshin-ya), it's an unbearable feeling. Although Kak Lang first remark was;
"Tak nak la makan kat sini. Jom pegi pizza."
Great. No way. No matter how unfamiliar the restaurant might be, let's have taste shall we? If we don't, then we'll never know.
See, we are a family that doesn't tolerate unfamiliar food much. We'd like to stay with the food we know although study shows willingness to eat bizarre food is connected to one's intelligence. Oh well, we all ate in the best manner that we could put forward.
I could eat the Japanese food at first. Wasn't so bad, so I thought. Kak Chik couldn't say that as well because for some reason 'mee ramen' doesn't taste right to her taste buds. I ate Tempura Bentou which was rice, Misou soup, prawn, potato, toufu and shreds of 'timun'. (Hahaha...what is 'timun' in English??)
Anyway, the bentou wasn't so bad. But after the meal, the burping was horrible. And it makes me feel a bit sick. The sushi was marvelous though. Sorry, but maybe next time I should stick to the sushi. We all should.
footnote: only a miracle can pull you through now, my dearests. don't wanna wish for anything bad for the other team, but mathematically that's how it has to be if we are to still be in the race. barca is just another team. don't think and don't worry. play with your hearts. go gunners!
