mood: excited!

i intended to be fully sincere when i decided to be one of the usher for the debate competition.

turns out my old can't-be-in-a-new-group-of-people-without-falling-for-a-man disease struck again.

i know i should stop doing that.

ac's quote, "you fall all the time."

to which i replied, "i fall in and fall out easily. you should try it sometimes."

.
.

i know i should stop doing that. may Allah have mercy on me..T.T

however, quoting ar-long; "kito mari sini, (walaupun patutnyo satu tujue jah), ado duo tujue. nok buat degree so, so lagi nok cari...".

(seriously, it ends like that)

so, people.
he's cute.
smiles all the time.
in his final year.
doing maths [which is good, i don't want my kids to hate maths like i do - so if my better-half likes maths, chances are my kids (at least, some. i hope - wah, bunyi dia da macam anak lima!!! ^^) will like maths as well].
speaks Malay like he's Faisal Tehrani (well, that is exaggerating).

did i mention that he's cute?

haha.

but maybe it's kind of like a 'balasan' for me because i was laughing at my bro's thinning hair (i'm still laughing 'till today but in full support of his treatment - may it work bro;)) and suddenly, i fall for a guy with the same head condition.

pretty serious fall now, won't you say so?

anyway....

i'd say falling is not a bad thing.

but if i'm serious, now i'd have to be like jaja looking for her ustaz din. and i don't have that kind of boldness. i'm just me. nothing like jaja and her bravery.

inter-unit debate, head of Bahasa Melayu department cup

^^....

the debate competition sounded important, isn't it?

to be honest (i can't be as honest as i used to be - growing up, they say), i was thinking between ESC or become one of the usher for the debate competition.

...

ESC will always be there. still have a long way to go (so i thought). so, debate it is.

and it's fun.

i got to play with a triangle (as the bell for the competition) which is new. (accidentally rang it once too).

.
.
.

"sape nak tulis?" (referring to usher's duty to write the motion, the government and the opposition on the white board) - me

"..." (went to the whiteboard quietly and started writing) - jai

"..." (smiling in the heart because asking meant not wanting to do it) - me

oh well. that was 'sidang 1'. 4 'sidang's left. 1PPISMP TeSL 1, ganbatte kudasai yo, anata-tachi!

honto ni arigato.

we had a marvelous time at Gua Musang the other day. although i have to say i was reluctant to come at first. i already had a plan in mind. i was planning to go home for our annual open house. (well, you can't exactly say it's annual because if we have a sponsor then it's on, if not, what can i say?) this year's sponsor was abg de.

anyhow.

that didn't work. the HEP suddenly wanted to organise a Bina Jati Diri camp at Etnobotani Garden Gua Musang for three days, from 30th sept - 2nd oct which was unfortunate because the open house was on 2nd oct. but, being an obedient teacher-to-be, i called home and told my mother i wouldn't make it. sadly. after days of persuading her to let me come home. (kemaman and besut is not that close in distance, alright? i have to board a bus for at least a 4-hour journey).

anyway.

we went to Gua Musang and guess what? the place was terrific! the cave, the hill, the misty-all-the-time environment, were just great. i had a feeling that the place wasn't going to be scaring me, more like i'll be scaring myself - very the 'penakut'.

we were divided into groups. (oh ya, thanks to abg di for awesome coaster driving - especially up and down the hills of Etnobotani Garden). in my group we had firdaus (abe - he's a year older), safuan (science), ji han (tesl 1), yuhan (pj), pei shan (pj), jie (tesl 2), siti (maths) and another husna (also maths). eventhough it seems like our group was a thoroughly mix-up group, we had so much fun together and how we bonded was amazing.

i am asthmatic. i think you guys know that. well, climbing a hill isn't exactly an evening walk circling the campus. much tougher and i had a feeling was much longer. so naturally, when we almost (literally, a few more steps) reach the peak of the hill, i had an attack. of course i had my medication with me but salbutamol will make you shake (pretty badly if you are still doing vigorous exercises) and i cannot have that since we still had a long way going down the hill and exploring the cave. so when jie asked about my medication, i said no.

abe (we don't call him 'abe'. it was just to tease him) was nice. he was almost like the most gentleman guy i've ever had an encounter with in my life. of course, giving you a seat in a crowded lrt or letting you go first on a long line in front of the counter in a bank are also considered as gentleman, but his type of gentleman-ness is only found in a movie. or korean drama. perhaps. i don't really watch korean drama. jie does. maybe i should ask her. anyway.

haha. or maybe, he is really a nice person. someone said to me that being the first born of a family will make one a more sensitive and caring person. i don't know how much of that statement hold true. but abe offered to carry my bag and he did that along the way from the peak of the hill (when i started to show asthma symptoms) until we got out of the cave (when i don't even struggle for breaths anymore). he was nice. i felt extremely jealous towards the girl who holds his heart^^

oh well. there it is. an account from our trip to Gua Musang. what else is there? oh, the cave was fantastic. i should like outdoor activities from now on. except that if i have to choose between cave exploring and window shopping, i'd choose kl any day.

if it's love, then let me go

when you love someone, it's only plain obvious that you'd want to be with him/her forever.

but is that all love could ever meant? to be together forever?

.
.
.
.
.

but separation is inevitable. for every meeting there will an end. that's just the way nature works.
but we encounter wonderful relationships throughout our lives. should the separation ends the ties we've tried very hard to knot?

.
.
.
.

sometimes, although it's not something we'd choose to entertain, the idea is the best for all.
with every tear we shed, we grow stronger.

.
.
.

knowing Toy Story, Toy Story 2 and the latest Toy Story 3, it seems as though i was watching Andy grew. and i actually grew together.

but love also means letting go. because, like Andy did, we let go because we love. if we are no longer capable of loving, or providing the best environment for our loved ones, then why keep holding on? it's not about being pessimistic, it's about love. and being able to let go.

i actually cried (silly reason to cry, i know) at the end of the movie. the friendship and Andy's love was inescapable. because of that, he's letting someone else starting their own toy story. so long.

i don't want to be by your side

i can understand if the bus' driver cannot see me; a mere motorcycle rider.
thus the reason of not wanting to be by the side of a bus.

but ride or drive, do either or both safely. it's holiday season. can't stand the death toll. (sometimes glad that my family originates from kemaman and stays in kemaman. except when we further study. or work.)
